GHL Temp Fence called upon for tight building sites at Gulf Harbour Waterways

You need space on a building site – space to construct and scope to protect the hazards onsite. This can sometimes be difficult on constricted construction sites like the one shown below. The water front canal properties have water on one side of the property and a wall on the other, making for a tight space for construction.

Tight building space adds to the challenge in erecting a temporary fence. It is the stability of the fence this is of high concern due to the proximity to construction hazards.

The problem with this tight building site

There is a gap of approximately one metre between the adjoining properties on this construction site, there are the hazards of the waterside front boundary, plus the property is on a sloping block, from the opening gates out to the road.

Not a problem for GHL Temp Fence!

We used

  1. Waratahs to secure these water front boundaries to ensure stability so that the fence will not get blown over in high winds and storms or pushed over.
  2. Bracing used in conjunction with the waratahs were secured to the temporary fence along the entire length of the boundaries.
  3. Double blocked bracing to ensure the stability of the fence at the opening gates section and along the sloping areas.
